2005 VT STATE CHAMPS!!!

THE CLOAK ROOM

Ladies and Gentlemen, for the first time since 1949, the Montpelier Solons are Vermont State Champions. John Dell hits the trey with 5.8 seconds left to lift the Solons to the 45-44 victory. IV only had 2 but shut the giant down. Cutting down nets as I type. A long night of celebration in the Capital city ensues.

Behold the reigning champions!

My work here is done.  Yall holler if I can be of any help in the future.

BACKGROUND

Its a stretch, but its an owl, Screech, the owl to be more precise.  The whys and wherefores surrounding how we got to this point with the proud Solons makes sense, much like the laws of thermal dynamics make sense, and equally compelling.  Ergo we'll just quit asking silly questions and accept the Solons as a dangerous team with which to deal as they head into the final round of the Vermont Principals Association Division 2 Basketball Championship.  The Solons third consecutive trip.

2005 Season

The Solons are 18-5, with three of the wins coming in this tournament.  The remainder is unchronicled, but here's the low down on the Screech to Victory 2005 part.
