Paul E. Waring, Jr. died on January 13, 2005 at his home in Naples. Mr. Waring was born June 6, 1930 in Washington, DC. He was a graduate of the University of Maryland (BS Business and Public Administration) where he was a charter member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Mr. Waring served in the in the US Air Force and US Air Force Reserve. He retired as a Captain and received an Honorable Discharge. Mr. Waring worked 33 years for AT&T / Western Electric in New York City and Atlanta. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Patricia Thomas Waring, three married children, seven grandchildren, and a sister, Joanne Waring Karppi. Funeral services will be held on January 18 at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the National Kidney Foundation.
